In 2023, the number of newly registered enterprises related to "egg laying" in China was 152, a significant increase of 153.3% compared to 2022, and the growth rate reached a new high. In 2024, "egg laying" enterprises will experience explosive growth. As of mid May 2024, China has registered 188 new egg laying related enterprises, far exceeding the 152 registered in 2023. Since 2023, over 20 million people in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces have regularly participated in various egg laying activities, while in China, the number of egg laying enthusiasts has exceeded 140 million. On March 23, 2024, the launch ceremony and first stop of the second China Workers' Egg Picking Championship of Hengyuanxiang were held at the Ditan Sports Center in Beijing. A total of 312 contestants participated in the Beijing station competition. On May 20, 2024, the Chess and Card Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China announced that the National Egg laying Open will be held in 2024. After a three-level competition system of city, province, and country, the national egg laying champion will be determined.
